This page explains how to delete your account and data from Crowdiume.
How to request account deletion
To delete your Crowdiume account, follow these steps: 1. Open the Crowdiume app. 2. Go to the Activity tab. 3. Scroll down to Settings. 4. Tap Delete Account and confirm. Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing dorlevi353@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account."
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following personally identifiable information is permanently removed: your account details (email address and any profile information), and your ability to be identified as the author of any content.
What data is retained, and for how long
Crowdiume is an anonymous platform. To preserve the integrity of public discussions (since your dilemmas, votes, and comments may be part of conversations involving other users), the content itself — dilemmas you created, votes you cast, comments you posted, and empathy/follow activity — is retained but is fully disassociated from your identity and reassigned to a generic "deleted user," so it can no longer be linked back to you in any way. Your personal identifying data is removed immediately upon deletion and is not retained. Where retention of minimal records is required by law, they are kept for up to 90 days and then permanently deleted.
